As much as nursing school sucks, life is great. For the first time in a long time, things are happening the way that they should. I got the job at EJ, I'm passing all of my classes, and I actually have some free time (with a social life). I've made progress on a quilt and have been able to plan all of my other quilting projects. I have a long list for the summer, but I doubt that I'll get to all of them because I'll be working 36 hours/wk at EJ on the CCU Rotation. I'm really looking forward to working in an area of nursing that I'm actually interested in.
I keep on waiting for something to go wrong, because that's how life was for me last year. I'm still surprised whenever something goes right.
Sutton Foster just released a solo album, Wish, and it's very good! She has a duet with one of the ladies who was in Little Women which is really good. The song's called Flight and it's my favorite one on the cd. It's along the same lines as defying gravity, which is always a plus for me. I might go find the lyrics later.
So, right now I'm defying gravity and you can't pull me down.
See you on the flip side of finals.
